Home Church

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there I am in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20 KJV). You may recall that the first disciples met in their homes. They still met in the temple daily, but they did not forsake their house church meetings. Paul reminded the elders in Ephesus, "You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house" (Acts 20:20 KJV).

Of course we believe that fellowship in the temple is just as important today as it was in the early church. We believe that our own homes should serve as place of Christian fellowship in addition to our home church family. The ambiance of the house church is something that cannot be duplicated in larger church settings, and we have witnessed the readiness of people to open up to the presence of the Holy Spirit more readily than in the larger gathering places. For this reason we are steadfastly dedicated to the house church movement both here and abroad.
